The Bloomingdale LeDroit Dog Park Association (BLDPA) is the sponsoring community association for the dog park at the "Park at LeDroit." BLDPA is responsible for maintenance, improvements and enforcement of the operating rules in the dog park. ALL supplies (e.g., poop bags, bin liners, sanitary spray, rakes) are funded by BLDPA through the support of its individual and corporate members.
According to the BLDPA by-laws, there are two classes of members in BLDPA:
- Non-Voting Members, and
- Voting Members.
a) Residence within the boundaries of the District of Columbia;
b) Ownership of a dog; and,
c) Owned dog must possess a DC Dog Park Tag (click here for application).
To become a member:
1) Fill out and submit the form at the bottom of this page.
2) If you are becoming a "Voting Member", send a check payable to "BLDPA" to 2035 2nd Street, NW Unit GL-05, NW, Washington, DC 20001, OR
3) Pay with a CREDIT CARD by sending a PAYPAL payment to the email "bldpatreasurer" (our "donate" button is currently malfunctioning, but will be back up soon!)
